I have designed this quilt in EQ7 and I sewed it up using the templates from EQ7. I have called it ‘A Quilt For Anthony’.

I have designed several quilts and table runners in EQ7 and find that by doing this I am able to see how the fabric looks and if the fabrics I choose go with each other.

A few of the table runners and quilts I have designed in EQ7 have been published in a couple of the Australian magazines which I am very proud of.

I love designing in EQ7 as it gives me exact measurements and I don’t have to manually work that out with the projects.

This quilt was designed with my husband in mind as we got new recliner lounge chairs and we wanted to have a cover on them so a quilt was the perfect choice.

So this quilt is 56 inches x 86 inches so that it covers the chair. I designed it in colours to suit a man. Mostly batiks but colours to blend with each other.

I had an all over meandering machine quilt design done on it.

Of course now he wont use it as he says its too good to use. Its big enough to fit the length of a single bed also.

As I mentioned, I am married and we live just out of Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. We have lived here together for 5 years now and previously we were in Western Australia. My children live in Western Australia with their partners and children. All up I have three grandsons. My husband and I now have a little fur baby called Bella and having her helps with me to ease me with missing my kids and grandkids.

Thank you for letting me show you my quilt and I love seeing what others have designed in EQ7.
