The Yellow Dog Eats quilt was made as a gift for a local restaurant that I love.  The “Dog” design that I used is actually from the restaurant’s logo.  The background was made of hundreds of scraps that were sewn “crazy quilt” fashion to make the background.  The Dog was sewn separately and then attached to the quilted base.  The dog hangs over the edge of the quilt. A real dog leash was used to make the cord for hanging it.   A photo of the actual quilt is in the photo section of the file.  The owner displays the quilt hanging from the center rafter in the restaurant.  If you are ever in Gotha, Florida, stop in to see the quilt and have a great meal. (Gotha is outside Orlando).
