I was watching the 2010 Olympics as I designed this quilt and it occured to me that the Olympic Rings were a perfect example of a circle design. New York Beauty blocks represent the rings, with Gold, Silver and Bronze colouring. The red and white represents Canada, host country of the Vancouver Olympics
