I love how the patches of the blocks sort of ‘runs’ out into the borders. It makes me think of a weaving with long fringe

I see now that the corner blocks should have a quarter turn.

I think this border is fabulous! You’re right about the quarter turn, but nevertheless a superb border. Congratulations.
