After seeing Double Wedding Rings interpreted by Victoria Findley Wolfe, I wanted to design something different as well. This quilt has diamonds for the wedding ring, vining branches, and ribbons for the celebration.
Barb, as soon as I saw your green ribbons, I thought of Virginia Findley Wolfe’s work, LoL! I love what you did with yours, applique gives a quilt real personality, very pretty. I love traditional patterns and yet Victoria Findley Wolf’s ‘Double Edged Love’ sure grabs my attention, another take off from DWR, inspiring.

It looks like the border blocks are open. I like it.
