“Lover’s Walk” by Diane Nagle – Designed in EQ7, published in Love of Quilting!

Flipping through the latest issue of Love of Quilting I spotted this quilt titled, Lover’s Walk by Diane Nagle. This quilt is just so pretty that I had to ask Diane if she designed this using EQ7, and she sure did! I asked her to tell us a little about how she used EQ7 to create Lover’s Walk so other’s might  and this is what she had to say… I used an on point layout in EQ7 with 9” blocks and drew my own Drunkard’s path block using the block worktable and the curved too. I also drew a double curve to make a second version of the Drunkard’s Path block.   I used 9 Ohio Star blocks, with the 2 versions of the Drunkard’s path block in the setting.  The most important part of the design is using the rotate tool to rotate the double curved blocks around the star blocks
