Debra’s EQ Christmas Quilt
Posted 12-07-2011 by Sarah | Posted in: Uncategorized
Debra McCarriar entered the Christmas Quilt Show on SewCalGal’s blog. This was the quilt she entered and guess what.. designed in EQ We loved it and wanted to share. Read what Debra has to say about designing in EQ: “This quilt was inspired by a Christmas card I received many, many years ago. I was drawn to the four red and white stars floating in a circle. The original image used applique to achieve the circular look, but I planned to piece my top. I drew the stars and then searched the libraries for a pieced block that would give the look of a Christmas tree without being too literal. Once I had those elements in place, I drew the center red and white block to finish the design. This virtual quilt has been sitting in a project folder for a few years. I entered it in SewCalGal’s Christmas Quilt
