We’re back with another staff challenge! This time we all used Boutique Blocks from the Animal category. So much fun to get these blocks into EQ7 and see what you can do with them!

Feel free to comment below and tell us what you think! If you’re ever designing in EQ7, snap a quick pic and post it to social media with the hashtag #ShowMeYourScreen.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Heidi

Heidi Noah’s Ark by Angie Padilla
“I wanted to make something with a bit of a folk-art touch. Even though you wouldn’t expect a block collection called Noah’s Ark (by Angie Padilla) to have it, it did! The cows are cute but I love the pigs too! I used the Auto Borders tool to make the borders, so they literally just took a few clicks of my mouse! The gold fabric by Need’l Love makes it, I think!” -Heidi

Christine

Christine Dress Up Bears by Sindy Rodenmayer
“As soon as I saw the Dress Up Bears collection by Sindy Rodenmayer, I instantly thought of a red white and blue color scheme. With summer just around the corner, I wanted to make up some patriotic teddies for Independence Day!” -Christine

Jenny

Jenny Petrilla and Friends by Regina Grewe
“I have a little flock of chickens at home (we just added 6 new chicks a couple weeks ago!), so it made sense to choose some poultry blocks. I was actually surprised by how many different chickens blocks we have available! I love paper piecing so this new collection by Regina Grewe is right up my alley. I alternated the chicken blocks with the Cross and Crown block from the EQ7 Block Library because I think it has a rural/rustic feel that pairs well with the chicks.” -Jenny

Sara

Sara Silhouette Cats by Janeen van Niekerk
“This quilt is the perfect way to show some love for your feline friends. Simply add a sleeve on the back to make a nice wall hanging or banner for your door. I used Janeen van Niekerk’s Silhouette Cats collection and the May fabric of the month download — Cozy Cotton Flannels from Robert Kaufman.” -Sara
