WE WANT TO KNOW:

What beginning quilting question do you get quite often? What do you tell them?
The question we’re asked most often is “How much fabric do I need for a border for this quilt”. We help them determine the appropriate size of borders and help with the fabrics needed.

What’s your next quilting purchase going to be and why?
Here at the shop we are always looking for new methods to achieve old patterns. Sometimes that is a new ruler or gadget and sometimes it is an new piecing trick. We love to share these new ideas with our quilters.

If you teach, what is your favorite class to teach?
My favorite class to teach is “Hand” Applique by Machine. I love the look of needle turn applique but I don’t have the time to devote to it. I enjoy sharing these methods with others.
